Raoon Kundi is a technical professional specialized in Identity & Access Management (IAM), with over two decades of experience in enterprise security solutions. He has solid expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and access management, having architected and implemented IAM solutions for various organizations.

His recent work includes architecting deployments of PlainID within Cisco Systems’ customer support organization as part of their Enterprise Policy Engine (EPE) team, where he configured identity and authorization workspaces and created PIP integrations. He has experience developing centralized authorization management solutions using Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC) for fine-grained authorization requirements.

Raoon previously served as a Solutions Engineer at SailPoint Technologies, where he delivered IdentityNow solutions and managed IIQ to IDN migrations. His earlier career at CA Technologies (now Broadcom) as Sr. Principal Consultant gave him experience with Security and API Management suites, conducting technical presentations, architectural discussions, and pilot implementations for enterprise clients.

Raoon holds a Master of Electrical Engineering (Computers & Electronics) from the University of Houston and maintains relevant industry certifications including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) since 2007, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) since 2010, and recent SailPoint certifications as both an Identity Security Leader and Certified IdentityNow Engineer. These certifications support his work in the evolving IAM field.

As an IAM Architect, Raoon focuses on designing identity lifecycle solutions aligned with IGA best practices and integrating systems using SDKs and API interfaces. His technical experience includes SSO & Access Management platforms (SiteMinder, OKTA, Auth0, Ping, Forgerock), API Management tools (Layer 7, Apigee, Axway), and federation protocols including SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and WS-*. He applies knowledge of centralized authorization management and distributed enforcement architectures in his projects.

Raoon’s technical background in systems engineering and requirements management supports his work on enterprise security implementations and IAM architecture projects.
